I mentioned in my last post about blogshares, well, I’m taking part in a competition on it by the 23,000 chippies corporation. A part of this is to blog about the competition.

The whole 23 thing is run by Rantz, an offbeat ozzie who has a fixation with all things 23, annoyingly this is also the 23rd competition he’s run so I reckon he’s beside himself with excitement. I took part in the last competition in their IRC Channel and what a laugh it was. It was fastest fingers first(generally a guy called Ken) to answer Rantz’s bizarre questions, one example:

It was nevertheless strangely addictive and I sat up until after 4 one morning answering them! The big prize this time is 23,000 chips. Chips in blogshares are used for many things, personally I sell them for B$ cash, as each chip is worth over B$25,000,000 at the moment. That cash is handy to buy up shares in blogs and “tools” for takeovers and things. Well this post only needed to be 150 words so I’m gonna stop now! Thanks for reading and get onto blogshares NOW!
